"Painting" to me is simply doing with my hands and heart what my eyes are seeing around me in this beautiful world. "Painting" gives me peace and brings me in communication with Him. With a thankful heart I praise the Lord for this GIFT to be able to "recreate" for others to enjoy. There is never a day, nor a season, when the scenery doesn't form paintings in my mind while driving through the country side or many small towns.

I have made and created things my entire life. I started painting in oils on canvas about 30 years ago, but it was not until 1995 after moving to Henry County that I began my primitive rural landscapes in acrylic.

My work definitely cannot be called "still life"; people are working, there is action, they tell a story, they give a sense of happiness as well.
